Quick Tip: MikroTik Router + GNS3 over HTTP(s)

Sometimes accessing a resource from your MikroTik router requires you to connect to a secure resource, such as when you are attempting to download a package or manage licensing. I've discovered that when using NAT + the CHR, you may be blocked from accessing the resource or experience a timeout error attempting to connect to the resource.
A quick way around this is to bind your WAN interface to a bridged port rather than a NAT port and then you should be able to connect to the resource, perform your operations that require outside SSH/HTTPS access, and then you can unbind your instance and re-attach to your NAT instance.
Looking for a better solution.
